Oregon Ash is a large deciduous tree, native to lowland riparian habitats. It grows upright and tall, forming a rounded crown with dark green, pinnate leaves that turn yellow early in the fall. Each leaf is divided into 5-9 oval, tapered leaflets. [37, 38]
Plant in well-drained soil in full sun or part shade. It can grow in standing water during the winter months, and requires no supplemental irrigation during the summer months. Use as a specimen or shade tree.
